Battery Direct warrants to the original purchaser only, (by proof of purchase receipt) that the battery is new, fresh and has been maintained in a condition which exceeds industry accepted standards and further that it will be free of defects in materials and workmanship for the number of months indicated in the price schedule. Should a battery become unserviceable due to manufacturer defects in material or workmanship, NOT MERELY DISCHARGED, then upon return of the battery to the dealer where the battery was purchased:

  1. Within the free replacement period from date of purchase, then the battery will be replaced free of charge (except for taxes where applicable).
  2. After the free replacement period that applies has expired, and for the balance of the warranty period, the original purchaser may receive a replacement battery of similar size upon payment of the prorated value of the expired portion of the warranty period from the original purchase date, plus applicable taxes based upon the cost per month as shown in the current price schedule multiplied by the completed months since the original purchase date as shown on the proof of purchase receipt.

BATTERY DIRECT WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR BATTERIES THAT FAIL DUE TO IMPROPER CHARGING OR INSTALLATION, CONTAINER, COVER OR TERMINAL DAMAGE, SULPHATION OR DEHYDRATION FROM PROLONGED STORAGE AND NON-USE, FIRE DAMAGE, EXCESSIVE HEAT, WRECKAGE EXPLOSION OR FREEZING, THE ADDITION OF ANY SUBSTANCE OR THE FAILURE TO PROPERLY MAINTAIN THE BATTERY.THE WARRANTY DESCRIBED HERE SHALL BE IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, INSTALLATION COSTS, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, OR THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
